Mr. Wescott founded Stone Oak Energy in 2017 and serves as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Wescott has more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and has worked extensively in a variety of onshore conventional and unconventional resources plays with both small and large integrated independent oil and gas companies. Prior to founding Stone Oak Energy, he was the Director of Geoscience for American Energy Partners and was instrumental in developing the geologic models of the core Anadarko Basin Resource Plays. Prior to American Energy Partners, Mr. Wescott was the Vice President of Exploration for SandRidge Energy.  Before joining SandRidge, Mr. Wescott held numerous technical and leadership roles with Chesapeake Energy and gained exposure to the Permian, Anadarko, Powder River and DJ Basins as well as the Haynesville and Barnett shale plays.  Mr. Wescott spent his early career serving in roles of increasing of responsibility for Ascent Energy, Prize Energy and Coho Resources.  Mr. Wescott holds a bachelor’s degree in Geoscience from the University of Texas at Dallas and an MBA from the University of Oklahoma.

Mr. Elliott serves as the company’s Vice President of Operations.  Mr. Elliott has over 30 years of operational experience in the oil and gas industry with a focus on drilling, completion and production engineering with much of that in the Anadarko Basin.  Prior to joining Stone Oak Energy, he served as the Vice President of Operations for Dorchester Resources where he managed all operational aspects of the non-operated working interest in more than 9,000 wells.  Before Dorchester Resources, Mr. Elliott served in numerous technical and leadership roles with Chesapeake Energy which included Senior Asset Manager and Operations Manager in the Anadarko Basin as well as Production Manager for the Haynesville and Barnett.  Prior to joining Chesapeake, he worked as Operations Engineer and Drilling Engineer in the Permian Basin for Devon Energy.  Mr. Elliot began his career with Oxy where he gained operational experience in multiple onshore basins as well as international exposure in Venezuela.  Mr. Elliott holds a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa.

Mr. Hall has over 35 years of petroleum land management experience and serves as the company’s Land Manager.  Since 1979, Mr. Hall’s land work has focused entirely on the Anadarko Basin.  Prior to joining the Stone Oak Energy team, Mr. Hall was Land Manager for Yale Oil Association.  Before Yale Oil, Mr. Hall spent the preceding 11 years with Chesapeake Energy where he was primary lead on the Colony Wash project.  For the 23 years prior to Chesapeake Energy, Mr. Hall worked all phases of land management with Sanguine Oil.  Mr. Hall holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma
